Come join us for this incredible trip covering the highlights of Vietnam and Ankor Wat in Cambodia. This terrific itinerary features visits to most of the significant destinations with daily tours, an overnight cruise on Halong Bay, 19 meals, entrance fees, all air and more! We’ll start in Saigon and visit the Cu Chi Tunnels that Vietnamese soldiers hid in. Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district. We’ll take a city tour and see sites including the Reunification Palace and visit some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon Post Office, War Remnant Museum. Our next stop is to Danang where we will explore Hoian, an historic town which was a prosperous seaport city during the 16th to 18th centuries. Next stop is Hue with stops along the way to see Cham Museum, Hai Van Pass and Lang Co beach. We’ll visit the Royal Citadel, which was constructed by Emperor Gia Long and also visit Khai Dinh Tomb.  We’ll take a boat cruise on the Perfume River which will give us a taste of the scenic countryside and visit to the beautiful pagoda of Thien Mu. We’ll also take in the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang, in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes. Then we’ll fly to Hanoi. We’ll visit the Hochiminh Mausoleum, museum, One Pillar Pagoda, Literature Temple, Ethnological museum and tour the old quarter. Then we’re on to our Halong Bay cruise. This is going to be a very enjoyable overnight cruise where we will have a chance to unwind and relax. We’ll visit Surprise Cave (a famous grotto) and a fishing village to experience the daily life of local people.  We’ll have time for swimming and kayaking and there’s onboard activities that will be a lot of fun. Then it’s on to Cambodia for Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom. The World Wonder Angkor Wat is the most important archaeological site in South-East Asia. Angkor Archaeological Park contains the magnificent remains of the different capitals of the Khmer Empire. We’ll even enjoy the sunset and an amazing view at Phnom Bakheng Hill. Angkor Thom is a temple built by Angkor’s greatest king, Jayavarman VII. On our last day we’ll tour more temples including the 9th-century Bakheng temple, the largest and most complex. We’ll also visit Ta Prohm, which is best known for its original charming look, with trees and roots intertwined with the carvings and chambers of the buildings. This is a very complete Vietnam and Cambodia trip that I am very excited about.
