Bonnie and I have been married now for 18 years come October this year. As you may recall, we met at an ASA event on a wallyball court at the La Jolla YMCA in 1988. We were married in 1990. In 1991, we moved and are now living in Flagstaff Arizona - we have a couple of beautiful daughters - AND, we still have our ASA mugs and pins - not to mention all the memories from past ASA events! (OK - the ASA mugs are losing the ASA printing, but WE know what they said...).

I just wanted to touch bases and let you know that we talk about ASA from time to time and have ASA to thank for our meeting, our marriage, our children and our wonderful life together - from our perspective, ASA was not only fun while we participated, but a hugely successful and fulfilling in my and Bonnie's lives...

We have you and ASA to thank - we wish you and ASA San Diego continued success!!!

Hi, my name is Stacy. I joined ASA in April of 2000. I was attracted to ASA for its casual and social activities. I wanted to spend more time participating in outdoor activities, while making new friends.

Meeting someone new in my life was the furthest thing from my mind, but after four months in the club, I met a wonderful guy. We've been together seven months now and consider ourselves soul-mates. Barry is just one of the many bonuses from joining ASA. We still enjoy our activities, traveling, and social events with the club and our friends. I personally would recommend ASA to anyone looking to expand their social life.

Being new to this "single life", I was concerned about traveling alone for pleasure. Thanks for making this trip so fantastic.... I haven't had this much fun, since I was a kid!! Every part of this trip was planned so well that each day was better than the next! It's hard to pin point any favorite event.... Lanai Rafting Snorkeling with the Turtles, Waterfall Hike, Sunset Sail, Leilani's Happy Hours, New Orleans Jazz Bands, Kayak Snorkel, Marriott Luau, ATV Tour off road tour, Theatre- Ulalena, The best Halloween party in the world!! Besides the wonderful memories, I took home many new friends from this trip!!! Aloha to your friends in Maui! Meeting some of your local friends was a big plus for me! Their knowledge of Lahaina was great... They were right about being totally safe downtown. They gave me the courage to venture out on my own and I had a blast! I may be 52 yrs old, but this trip has made me feel 30 again!!! I really needed this attitude adjustment! I definitely plan on seeing Maui with your group again!

"I joined ASA a little over two years ago. The difference between ASA and other dating clubs is; with ASA, you're there primarily just to do the activities, and so it's a more natural way of meeting people. I really like the people! I've met a lot of great people. So great in fact that I met my fiancé' through ASA. I would definitely recommend ASA for anybody who wants to build on their social life, and who's maybe even looking to meet someone. It worked for me!"

I still think about all the tequila I served in Rosarito. I keep telling Hants I want to return to Rosarito and spend the night on the town. What a great time and lots of wonderful memories. Thank you for the major part you and ASA played in my life. I (We) have gained so many friends from our membership in ASA and lots of great memories.

As a new member, I just wanted to commend you on how organized your group is!!! That is one of the reasons that I enrolled in ASA.

I returned from my holiday break on December 28, and my newsletter had already arrived. I went through the entire 3 months to schedule events that I want to attend. I am very excited to meet other members.

Allow me a moment to thank you for an incredible adventure with all of you, the trip to Peru being the ultimate experience--a gift that keeps on giving. I met wonderful people, participated in activities I would have otherwise missed like the trapeze school. ASA added an extra dimension to my life and I am very grateful for all your hard work.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Eddie Herbert, who I've known for 16 years, has been raving about ASA for nearly 3 years. I told him maybe, about a thousand times. My son is 18 and now I need a life and FUN. Eddie said this is the group for me... FUN PEOPLE WHO KNOW HOW TO HAVE A GREAT TIME. The New Years Eve party was a blast. One of the best I have ever been to.

I have been enjoying the Orange County tennis and instruction by Ken, and I have a few "tennis buddies" now as a result. Life is good, thanks to you!

Had a great time in Tahoe. Skiing was excellent, food was great, and a terrific group of people to ski with. I even won a few bucks at the blackjack tables. It was the best trip of the year for me.

Great day of kayaking in La Jolla. We had a wonder time.

As a new member, coming on my 1st weekend trip, I have to say I was very impressed with the organization of the Mexico trip. Everything came together well.

Thank you for your personal attention during our recent trip to Maui. I was most impressed by the care you took to be certain that we all had a goodtime. I certainly will tell everyone that they should check with you if they are contemplating a trip to Maui.
