Here's a new trip that many people are excited about in fact since we've posted it on the "What we're working on" section of our website we've already had 15 people sign up in advance! It's a well-thought-out trip that we know you'll enjoy. We've scheduled some terrific tours into this trip as all-included this time rather than piece-meal since we felt like everyone will want to do each one. This trip is not the cheapest as Switzerland is one of the most expensive places to travel but we've packed in all the tours that value of which is over $700! Here's what you have to look forward to:

Day 1: Depart USA – August 17
Board your overnight flight to Zurich.

Day 2: Arrival Zurich - August 18
Upon arrival in Zurich, collect your luggage and board a coach for beautiful Lucerne where you will check into your hotel for a 3-night stay.
Overnight: Lucerne

Day 3: Lucerne - August 19
This morning we encounter historic and alluring Lucerne, surrounded by mountains and sitting on its namesake lake. We visit the medieval Old Town; and cross treasured Kapellbrücke (Chapel Bridge), the oldest covered bridge in Europe.
We'll start off with a ride on the world’s steepest cogwheel train to the summit of nearby Mt. Pilatus for stunning views across the surrounding countryside.

Day 4: Lucerne villages, caves and waterfalls bus trip - August 20
It's a whole day’s worth of Alpine sightseeing, including stops at Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, and more.We'll explore caves, a lake, charming Swiss villages, and alpine landscapes. Our first stop takes us to Lake Lungern, where we pause at a panoramic viewpoint. From here, you’ll enjoy sweeping views of the turquoise lake nestled among rolling hills and surrounded by majestic Alpine peaks — a perfect introduction to Switzerland’s natural beauty.We'll make a visit to Beatus Caves
. After the caves, we head to the charming village of Grindelwald. We'll have time to enjoy a relaxing lunch, explore local shops, and stroll through the picturesque streets, taking in the stunning mountain scenery that surrounds this Alpine village. We visit the famous village of Lauterbrunnen, known for its stunning waterfalls. We'll explore the village and admire the dramatic cliffs and cascading waters that make this valley so iconic. If time allows, we'll also make an optional visit to the Iseltwald Village on the shore of Lake Brienz.
Overnight: Lucerne

Day 5: August 21,Lucerne - Zermatt -
Today we head to the Andermatt train station where we board the Glacier Express for a scenic train ride to the beautiful town of Zermatt. Upon arrival, we check into our Zermatt hotel. Tonight, grab dinner on your own, go exploring, or take the time for some relaxation.

Day 6: August 22nd Zermatt
Today, you’ll have the option to spend the day at leisure in Zermatt or join an optional tour by climbing aboard the Gornergrat Bahn cogwheel railway, the highest open-air rack railway in Europe. Ascend to a summit far above Zermatt to experience one of the best viewpoints in the Alps. Admire a gorgeous vista that includes Monte Rosa, the Matterhorn, and the Gorner Glacier. Hike down past Alpine lakes to Riffelberg, where we will catch the train back to Zermatt.

Day 7: August 23rd - Zermatt

We typically make sure that our groups have at least one free day to explore on their own. You won't have any trouble entertaining yourself in this beautiful town.

Day 8: August 24th - Zermatt - Stresa – Cadenabbia (Lake Como). This morning after breakfast, we’ll board a shuttle train to Taesch. On arrival, we continue by coach to the town of Stresa located on Lake Maggiore, the second largest lake in Italy. Enjoy some free time to explore the charming town of Stresa while taking in the lakeside view before catching a ferry to the nearby island of Isola Bella where we’ll visit the magnificent Palazzo Borromeo, built in the 16th century by Charles Borromeo III for
his wife Isabella. The palace’s luxurious gardens, spread across ten terraces, are not to be missed. After our return trip on the ferry, we’ll board our coach and travel to Cadenabbia, overlooking Lake Como. Check into our hotel for the evening.

Day 9 - August 25th: Cadenabbia - Como – Cadenabbia
Today, we travel to the quaint town of Como for a guided walking tour. We’ll stroll through the many piazza’s of this town surrounded by medieval walls including Piazza Vittoria, where you’ll see the impressive statue of the legendary Italian General, Giuseppe Garibaldi, who drove Austrian forces out of Como in 1859, Piazza San Fedele, home to the Basilica of San Fedele, a Romanesque style church built in the 12 century, and Piazza del Duomo, where you’ll find the stunning Como Cathedral, built predominately in the gothic style between the 14th and 18th centuries. Ride the Funicular up to the nearby town of Brunate which overlooks Como, for some spectacular panoramic views. Afternoon at leisure in Cadenabbia. Meal - (B) Overnight: Cadenabbia

Day 10 - August 26th: Cadenabbia
After breakfast, we board a private boat for a cruise departing from Cadenabbia on Lake Como. See the most beautiful and famous sites from from the water. Including Villa Fontanelle, the beloved mansion of stylist Gianni Versace and Villa Oleandra, home of George Clooney. We’ll stop in the village of Bellagio, known as the Pearl of Lake Como, for a guided tour. Stroll along the cobblestone streets as you take in the lovely boutiques, villas, and wonderful views. See the Basilica to San Giacomo, the Romanesque church built between the 11th and 12th centuries which sits in the center of Bellagio and stop at Punta Spartivento for picture perfect views of Lake Como.

Day 11: August 27th - Cadenabbia
FREE DAY
We typically make sure that our groups have at least one free day to explore on their own. You can easilly take a ferry to Bellagio from our hotel and enjoy a stroll.
Day 12: August 28th - Cadenabbia – Milan
This morning, say arrivederci to Italy as we board our coach and travel to the Milan airport for our flight back home finishing up our unforgettable tour of Switzerland and Italy.
